Email us your situation — nationality, education, work experience, and what you want to do in China. Within two business days, we tell you honestly whether it's worth pursuing and what your realistic paths are.
We tell you whether you should come to China at all.
Thinking about working, studying, or building a life in China? Get a straight answer first — before you spend money on agents, flights, or paperwork.
01 — Why we exist
China's work permit rules, points systems, and employer requirements change often. Whether you qualify depends on your nationality, degree, work history, age, and the specific city you're targeting.
Most intermediaries will tell you it's possible — because that's what you pay them to say. We'd rather tell you "not yet" in week one than watch you discover it in month six.
If our assessment concludes your case is unlikely to succeed, we will tell you directly — and refund all unconsumed fees. It's written into our Refund Policy.
02 — How it works
Email us your situation — nationality, education, work experience, and what you want to do in China. Within two business days, we tell you honestly whether it's worth pursuing and what your realistic paths are.
A deep review of your documents and target city: which permit category fits, what your employer needs to provide, the timeline, and the risks. You get a written report you can act on — with us or without us.
If you proceed, we manage the process end to end: document preparation, notarization guidance, employer coordination, permit applications, and arrival logistics. You pay per milestone — never everything upfront.
03 — Who we are
Ashore China is the English-facing practice of a registered Shanghai consulting company. We work with foreigners inside and outside China on work permits, residence questions, and the practical problems of building a life here.
We are a consulting firm, not a government body. We don't issue permits — we make sure you walk into the process with correct documents, realistic expectations, and someone accountable on your side.
04 — Contact
Tell us who you are and what you want to do in China. If we can't help, we'll say so — and tell you who might.
